# Install Oyster as an app

> Install Oyster on Android, iPhone, iPad or your desktop so it opens in its own window like an app.

Oyster can be installed from the browser, so it opens in its own window from your home screen or dock. It is the same Oyster as on [redorca.ai](https://redorca.ai/), with the same account.

## Android, and desktop Chrome or Edge

When your browser can install Oyster, a download icon appears in the sidebar footer. Click it and confirm **Install app**. You can also use the browser's own menu → **Install app**.

## iPhone and iPad

1. Open [redorca.ai](https://redorca.ai/) in **Safari**.
2. Tap **Share**, then **Add to Home Screen**.
3. Confirm. Oyster now opens from its icon.

## Installed it from the old address?

An app installed from `redorca.tech/oyster` before the move opens the new address in a browser tab. Remove it and install again from [redorca.ai](https://redorca.ai/). See [Moving from redorca.tech](https://documentation.redorca.ai/get-started/moving-from-redorca-tech/).
