A project (or engagement) is the container for one body of work. Its conversations, uploaded files, Red Team scope, findings and long-term memory all live together, so switching projects switches the material Oyster works from. Projects need an account.

## Create a project

1. Open the project switcher at the top of the sidebar.
2. Choose **New project** and give it a name.
3. It becomes active immediately; new chats and uploads land in it.

## Switch, rename or delete

Switch from the same menu at any time. Rename or delete a project from its row's actions. A deleted project is removed from the switcher, and that cannot be undone.

## Who can see a project

Only you. Every project belongs to your account, and other accounts cannot list, open or search it. See [Isolation](https://documentation.redorca.ai/understand/isolation/).

## Tips

- One project per engagement or topic keeps answers focused: files from an unrelated project are not in play.
- Set the [Red Team scope](https://documentation.redorca.ai/guides/red-team/scope/) in the project it belongs to.
