Open redorca.ai, type your question in the box at the bottom and press Enter. Shift + Enter starts a new line. The answer streams in as it is written.

Above the message box, Depth sets how much detail you get:

Depth What you get
Quick (default) A plain-language answer of roughly 100–220 words, answer first.
Technical Concrete mechanisms, protocol details, detection signals, failure modes and mitigations.
Guided An organised defensive or lab workflow in numbered stages, with prerequisites, checkpoints, expected observations, cleanup and hardening.
Lab A reproducible workflow for your own approved lab, with assumptions, placeholders, validation, rollback, cleanup and audit points.

Start with Quick and switch up when you need the detail.

With an account, Oyster takes the earlier messages of the conversation into account, so “and the second one?” works. Without an account, each message is answered on its own; include the context in the question.

Each account gets one answer at a time. If Oyster is busy with many people, it tells you and shows your place in line — wait rather than resending.

  • Stop ends an answer that is going the wrong way.
  • Edit (hover your own message) changes it and regenerates the replies below it.
  • 👍 / 👎 rate the answer. A thumbs-down with a correction tells Oyster what the answer should have been, and that correction is recalled on your next message.
  • Pin keeps an answer easy to find, and save as Finding keeps what you learned. See Findings and sharing.

With an account, the picker in the sidebar footer lets you choose a model. Larger models give stronger answers to harder questions but are slower. Without an account, Oyster uses one smaller model.

An empty chat shows a few suggested questions. Click one once: it opens the chat, sends the question and streams the answer.

Oyster is made by Red Orca, alongside Dolphin and Shark. One account for all three.
