Oyster in brief
Section titled “Oyster in brief”- What it is: a cybersecurity AI assistant made by Red Orca, at redorca.ai.
- Who makes it: Red Orca, a European software company that also makes Dolphin and Shark. One account signs in to all three.
- Price: free. One message a day without an account; no daily limit with a free account. Openweight editions are not yet on sale.
- With a free account: chat with a choice of models, questions over your own files with citations, Red Team planning inside a declared scope (Scope, Recon, Planner, Fix Advisor, Code Lab), Blue Team (SOC Copilot, Security Intel, Cook Book), Findings and long-term memory.
- What it does not do: for accounts, it has no access to any system and does not scan, probe or run tools. Running tools against real hosts and live SIEM connections are reserved for Red Orca’s operators.
- Data: anonymous conversations stay in the browser and are not used for training; account conversations are stored in the account and used to improve Oyster’s AI, a condition of the free account. Models run on infrastructure Red Orca operates in the EU.
- Documentation: this site, documentation.redorca.ai.
